Empowering Children Improving Lives

EMCS is dedicated to supporting and empowering children and their caregivers with access to collaborative services, and direct support by addressing barriers through programs, case management, and crisis intervention. 

A family-centered approach to reduce barriers and empower children, caregivers & families feel supported and seen for an improved life. This program provides access to mobile tutoring,  mental health services, allied health training, and transportation for a thriving community. 

A comprehensive school-based program offering evidence-based curriculum to educate kids about safety. These mentoring sessions include conflict resolution, emergency preparedness, and violence prevention. 

Rapid Emotional Support Emergency Team provides same-day  crisis intervention, by certified and licensed professional. Our goal is to stabilize the situation and make appropriate personalized referrals that lead to increased access to local mental health providers. This access include school-based counseling and transportation assistance. 

In partnership with the Alabama Department of Human Resources, professional shuttle services are available for local TANF qualified parents to employment or any employment related activities. This program increases access to dependable transportation which connects families to the workforce. 

AcademyED offers tailored training for educators, nonprofits, childcare providers, and social workers to strengthen their knowledge, confidence, and compassion to effectively serve children and their families in our community.
